I grew up in Peru, Indiana. I found a love for the sport of competitive swimming as an adult and have
turned it into a full time Aquatics career. I started the YUSA sanctioned swim team at the Fishers YMCA
and grew the team to a point of having swimmers qualified for the YUSA Zones and National swim
meets. I sat on the YMCA Great Lakes Zone committee serving as the state representative for Indiana in
my last year with the team. I also work full time as an Aquatics Manager managing pools and a
waterfront, training lifeguards, and creating fun aquatic programming.
