Kris embarked on his competitive swimming journey during his freshman year at Northridge High School and NASA, transitioning from being a multi-sport athlete in soccer and baseball. Achieving notable improvement, Kris represented Northridge at the High School State Meet in the 200 medley relay, securing a tenth-place finish in 2017. His dedication to the sport continued at Anderson University, where he had a highly successful four years and currently holds two school records in the 400 IM and 400 Free Relay. Kris graduated from Anderson in 2021 with a degree in Sports Marketing.

Beyond his achievements in the pool, Kris served as the Intern for Indiana Swimming, showcasing his passion for both business and sports. Since joining FAST, he has rediscovered his love for swimming, contributing to the team's success.
