Cat started swimming as an 8 and under for KAT (Kokomo Aquatics Team) and quickly fell in love with the sport! She continued swimming through high school and into college. In high school, she competed at the state meet in the 100 breaststroke as a freshman and senior. She, along with her sister, was also part of the 200 free relay that held the Kokomo High School record for 20 years! Cat went on to compete at Ohio Wesleyan University where she graduated in 2008 with a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education.

Cat started teaching swim lessons in high school and coaching while she was in college. She was part of a dynamic duo who started the Kokomo YMCA swim team in 2016 and was the head coach until she left in 2022 and joined the coaching staff at the Fishers YMCA. Cat is incredibly happy to be part of the FAST coaching staff and be able to work with all the amazing kids!
